Overview
NIMCET is the common entrance test for the MCA programme at the participating NITs. One NIT organises the test each year on behalf of the others. Candidates need a bachelor degree with mathematics at the level set in the brochure. The test covers mathematics, reasoning, computer awareness and English. After the result, a common counselling process allots seats at the participating institutes, using your rank, category and choices. Read the brochure of the organising NIT each year for the current dates and conditions.
