Overview
B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture is a four-year degree about crops, soil, water, plant protection, farm machinery, farm business and rural development. It combines classroom learning with farm practice, field visits and a rural or industry attachment. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) sets standards for agricultural education. A share of the seats in agricultural universities is filled through an ICAR counselling process using CUET UG scores in recent cycles, and the rest of the seats are filled by each state or university, often through state tests or merit. Check the current notice of each university.
